Hoisted heating tubes are used in VENLO and widespan greenhouses. The heating tubes that can be height adjusted are hanging from the truss girder with steel cables and pulleys. The system is hoisted by a GW HC type motor gearbox which drives a winding tube. The GW HC is developed especially for hoisted heating systems.

To achieve the best yield result certain products require extra heating. In order to provide this heating as efficient as possible it is best if this heat is delivered where it is required. Using a heat tube makes this possible. Making use of our strong and reliable motor gearboxes this heat tube can be lifted to the preferred height or it can be lifted all the way in order to allow for certain activities. When the heat tube is combined with wire netting it can also be used to support the crop.
