Venlo greenhouses keep getting bigger and higher, as greater greenhouse volume benefits the greenhouse climate. Many standard sizes are used, but the diversity in bays, the number of bays per truss and the number and size of the ventilation windows is increasing. The roof systems also vary in thickness and weight. Flexible drive solutions are indispensable to achieve this greenhouse climate.

Because poly film is lighter than the aluminium framed glass windows, poly greenhouses often have lighter structures. They often offer fewer possibilities than glass greenhouses. Poly greenhouses also require more maintenance and are often not as durable as glass greenhouses. The type of poly film depends on the crop and the customer's wishes. Obviously these lighter structures require different drive solutions.
