The use of a chain coupling on a motor gearbox or gearcase to connect a drive tube makes it possible to cope with minor alignment differences. A complete chain coupling set consists of two sprockets connected by a duplex chain. The chain couplings are available in 5 different versions with the following features:
- 08B Z12: 12 teeth 1/2” x 5/16”, maximum torque 120 Nm
- 08B Z16: 16 teeth 1/2” x 5/16”, maximum torque 240 Nm
- 10B Z16: 16 teeth 5/8” x 3/8”, maximum torque 420 Nm
- 12B Z16: 16 teeth 3/4” x 7/16”, maximum torque 675 Nm
- 12B Z18: 186 teeth 3/4” x 7/16”, maximum torque 760 Nm
