The facade ventilation system with sliding windows is used in for example Venlo greenhouses. The sliding windows are driven via THG racks above the windows and a GW motor gearbox. The drive tube of this system is supported by 1" slide bearing plates which are mounted to the main and secondary posts. The design of this system is based on the use of a 1" (Ø 33,7mm) drive tube.

For additional natural ventilation, façade ventilation is used in certain crops or climate conditions. By installing sliding or swing windows in the façades, greater ventilation rates can be achieved and a kind of chimney effect created. Vertical sliding windows, compared to hinged windows, can be more compactly built into the façade. They are also sometimes used in plant and nursery sectors in combination with internal transport systems for passing containers through. This allows these to be transported from the greenhouse area to the outdoor cultivation area and vice versa. To make this possible, we offer a wide range of reliable drives.
