By introducing the new GWM motor gearbox, De Gier Drive Systems strengthens its leading position. The GWM is a modular motor gearbox that has been specially developed for the poly greenhouse market to drive continuous ridge ventilation, sidewall ventilation and horizontal screening. Like all of De Gier Drive Systems products the GWM is made of high quality materials and has an IP55 protection rating. The aluminium housing is lightweight, corrosion-resistant and maintenance-free.
The gearbox is equipped with a low-noise three-stage gear and worm / worm gear combination. We have been successfully using this transmission for many years. So a long service life is guaranteed.

The GWM has a modular structure consisting of a gearbox unit and an electric motor. Fitting or exchanging the electric motor is simple. The input shaft of the gearbox has a hex connection. This allows limit switch adjustment anywhere at any time, even if there is no electricity available.

The GWM has an expansion chamber with a membrane. This means you do not need a vent plug, so the motor can be mounted in any position. The high-quality seals and gaskets ensure an oil-tight motor gearbox.

De Gier Drive Systems has also put great care into the packaging of the GWM. The packaging has handles for easy carrying and protects the motor during transportation and storage. The box has a print on it to increase recognisability. Of course, only sustainable materials were used in the design.
A brand-new limit switch has been developed for this unit. De Gier Drive Systems’ used its many years of technical experience during the development. The limit switch is equipped with an operating and an emergency switch and is very easy to set. The unique design prevents damage to the limit switch if it is set or connected incorrectly. The plastic protective cover is secured with only two screws and remains attached to the motor gearbox with a hinge during adjustment. The connection instructions are shown on the inside of the cover.
