General Information

To meet the specific demands and wishes for drives in poly greenhouses, De Gier has developed a special drive for poly greenhouses. They incorporate our experience from the success of the GW motor gearboxes. The GWM series has a very wide range of applications such as natural ventilation, horizontal and vertical screening systems, and in particular for use in poly greenhouses.

Features of GWM motor gearboxes:

• Available in two versions, with or without motor (GWM R).
• The switching range of 2,6 rpm are suitable for ventilation.
• The switching range of 5,2 rpm are suitable for shading.
• Drive torque range from 150 to 450 Nm.
• Speed range from 2.6 to 5.2 rpm.
• Equipped with linear limit switch system with operating and emergency stop contacts.
• Adjustable switching range from 0.75 to 42 turns of the output shaft at 2.6 rpm.
• Adjustable switching range from 1.50 to 84 turns of the output shaft at 5.2 rpm.
• Duty cycle limited to 25 minutes maximum (S3-30%).
• High-pressure die-cast aluminium housing with tapped holes for side mounting.
