The chain pocket wheel enables manual drive of simple infrequently used systems using GWK worm gearboxes. The chain pocket wheel is mounted on the input shaft of the worm gearbox.

General Information
Where there is no electricity available, or for installations that are used very infrequently, it is possible to drive systems manually. For example, operating a ventilation window in a simple hobby greenhouse.
For this type of application you can use a GWK worm gearbox in combination with a chain pocket wheel and link chain or a coupling piece hand crank fitted on the input shaft of the GWK.
