Article Information
Due to the elimination of small alignment differences, we always recommend the use of chain couplings to connect drive tubes to gearboxes or worm gearboxes. Where this is not readily possible due to lack of space, weld bushes can be used. This is subject to the condition that the drive tubes are perfectly aligned in order to avoid excessive load on the bearings in the gearbox.
The weld bush is secured to the shaft of the gearbox box with an M8 setscrew.
- Simple compact connection between motor and drive tube.
- Solid design.
