All over the world De Gier drives are used successfully in international greenhouse horticulture, intensive livestock farming and crop storage. In addition to our well-known and popular GW motor gearbox, De Gier has developed a completely new drive specifically for intensive livestock farming and crop storage. This new De Gier drive meets customer demand for drives in countries where the power supply may not always be stable and where for safety reasons an emergency power supply is advisable. We hereby proudly introduce: the all new KL300 MultiWinch.

The KL300 MultiWinch was created in collaboration with our partners in the agricultural sector. It combines De Gier's many years of global experience and competence in drive technology with our partners' experience and expertise in electronics. We combined the best of two worlds to create a unique product. Therefore the KL300 MultiWinch meets all the requirements of the agricultural sector.

One of the most striking features of the KL300 MultiWinch is that it is extremely compact compared to similar products on the market. As a basis for this motor gearbox we chose a very powerful, compact, self-braking, high-quality 24V brushless stepper motor. The unit is enclosed in a lightweight pressed aluminium housing. The clever design makes the KL300 MultiWinch compact, light, powerful, completely oil-tight and therefore maintenance-free. The compact and powerful KL300 MultiWinch with its integrated mounting base are easy to install anywhere in a livestock stable.

The KL300 MultiWinch has smart electronics with built-in intelligence. The extensive software provides very precise control of the 24V stepper motor, so that the climate in the livestock building can also be controlled very accurately. The software allows you to choose for 0-10V DC, CAN-LOCAL or Modbus on site. The speed can be changed from 0.8 to 0.4 rpm at the flick of a switch. The KL300 MultiWinch can be adjusted with a few simple actions. All this makes the KL300 MultiWinch a true plug and play unit!.

The powerful KL300 MultiWinch is perfectly suited to operate air inlet valves or dampers in poultry sheds or storage facilities , but also to open relatively heavy tunnel doors, hatches, mixing valves and daylight control systems in livestock sheds. The KL300 MultiWinch has an IP65 protection rating for use in the often extreme conditions in the sheds. A large number of accessories are available, such as sprocket wheels and single and double winch drums, making the KL300 MultiWinch even more suitable for a wide range of uses. It is a joy to work with for every installer. It also gives farmers peace of mind.

Trouble-free control

The reliability of the entire drive system is particularly important in countries where the power supply may not always be stable. The KL300 MultiWinch can be controlled by any climate or process computer. However, if the climate computer fails due to a power failure, this should not affect the cattle or the crop. The De Gier KL300 MultiWinch can be operated manually, but can also be expanded with an optional battery pack for an uninterruptible power supply. This means that in the case of a power failure, the drive unit moves to a pre-set, safe emergency position. This simple and cost-effective measure will keep your most valuable assets safe.

We chose to give the KL300 MultiWinch a single article number. With this single number, you have a unique product for drive applications in the agricultural sector.
